Natural Resource Science
Play an active role in protecting and managing our world’s resources. As a natural resource scientist, you will apply scientific principles and knowledge toward the management and conservation of water, forests, rangeland, soil, minerals, fisheries and wildlife across Canada and around the world.
Graduates will find many exciting career opportunities within areas such as land-use planning, conservation biology, energy use, climate change, renewable resource management, forest and wildlife management, and natural resource policy.

Bachelor of Natural Resource Science
The Bachelor of Natural Resource Science program prepares you to be a specialist in natural resource science. It can also prepare you to pursue a specific area in a graduate study program.
Bachelor of Natural Resource Science, Honours
You may apply to the honours program prior to your final year of study. The honours program has prerequisites and is designed for students who want to pursue a career in research.
Bachelor of Natural Resource Science, Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development Minor
The Environmental Economics and Sustainable Development Minor provides students with an understanding of current issues in environmental economics, development economics, natural resource management, and sustainable development.

Science students from all areas of Science will be presenting posters from projects completed through Honours, Directed Studies, Undergraduate Research Experience Award Program (UREAP), and other research programs.

SUPER is designed to inspire early-year science students by highlighting what senior students have achieved. First, second, and third-year Science students are encouraged to come discover the many research opportunities available to them throughout their degree.
